This game is generic, the plot is generic, the characters are....and so forth, obviously if you have been playing games since the 80's and it is your wage earner to mess about with them every day, pratically everthing is going to be generic.
How can a full grown man (mortgage, car loan, divorce settlement) have as much interest in a video game as a 14 year old kid who only gets his couple of hours in when the homework is done. At the end of the day regardless of what anyone says computer games are meant for the youth and the easy way to prove this is to ask anyone over the age of 25 what there favourite game is and i guarantee 9 times out of 10 you will get a game from the 90's or early this century.
My favourites are MGS 1, Dues Ex, and Final Fantasy 7 and no matter how hard i try to feel that wonderment again that true excitment has gone. So all im trying to say reviewers is don't put kids of a game just because you have seen it all before, and spend some time with the missus for god sake!

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

I completly agree. nothing worse then a 28 year old reminding us that Iron Man 2 is an average game. Put it in the hands of a 6 year old, the kid will love it.
People need to realize that their nostalgic memories and there self proclaimed expert view on games does not resemble that of a 10 year old kid.

i'm what you're criticizing but you forget that the average age of gamers is something like 35, i'm 32.
in the 7th generation of consoles i simply expect more. why are we still getting garbage that makes hack sci-fi novels look like shakespeare? people should want more from their entertainment than "good enough". it's not that i've seen it before, it's that the execution is near identical to what i've seen before. nothing really has changed except for the graphics.
